- Provide guidance, verbal cueing, hands on assist and reminders during ADL’s
- Serve meals and assist with dining services
- Supervise dining room during meals
- Assist with clean-up after meals
- Provide room fare: laundry, making beds, empty garbage, clean bathrooms, stock supplies
- Maintain safe and secure environment
- Answer emergency call system
- Report and record changes in tenant condition and needs on Staffing Note or to Facility Nurse
- Encourage tenant to remain as independent as possible
- Clean and maintain personal hygiene equipment
- Assist with ambulation, moving and transporting tenants including pushing wheelchairs
- Participate in education and in-service opportunities
- Accompany tenants on outings
- Complete tenant safety/status checks
- Encourage tenant’s participation in socialization and activities
- Perform tasks as assigned in individual service plans
- Take vital signs as necessary
- Follow facility policies and procedures
- Orientation of new tenants to suite/community areas
- Orientation of new R.A.’s and C.N.A.’s

Grounds Maintenance Position
Monmouth Park District seeks applications to fill openings for both part-time and one full-time position in Grounds Maintenance. Working under the direction of the Supervisor these are hands-on positions in day-to-day operations, 3 to 5 days per week; must be able to work flexible hours/wkends.
Applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment physical, background check and drug screen. This is an at-will position.
Qualifications: Applicant must be in good physical condition in order to perform a variety of manual tasks outside in various weather conditions. The “ideal” candidate will be energetic, reliable, and be mechanically inclined with prior basic grounds maintenance experience operating mowers and related equipment. Good communication skills are required with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must be at least 18 years of age, have a High School degree or equivalent and a valid Illinois Driver’s License.
Duties: Grounds Maintenance staff member must take direction well and be sufficiently skilled to perform a wide variety of outdoor maintenance tasks with or without direct supervision. Duties include but not limited to; landscape work, mowing/trimming, pruning, litter pick up, painting, minor repairs to park elements, some custodial, special event set up/take down, etc.

Part-Time Business Class Facilitator
The CEO (Creating Entrepreneurship Opportunities) program is coming to Warren County this fall! Our community is seeking an innovative educator to facilitate the class—someone who believes that education extends beyond the classroom. The CEO facilitator creates a learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, discover and experience learning through real-life activities.
The facilitator’s role is to model a passion for learning, connect with the students and community, collaborate with the CEO Board, and provide guidance to the students. Students in the program come from two area high schools and meet daily from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. off-campus during the school year.
The facilitator position is half-time during the school year (ten months): ninety minutes of the day is spent with the students, and the balance is used for arranging business visits, guest speakers, calling on business people, etc. The facilitator will need to establish good relationships with the business community, prepare the communications that make the program transparent, and build the learning environment that allows students to succeed.

Dispenser/Stylist Sought for our Optometric Practice
Our dispensers work at the crossroads of health care, fashion, business, and even mechanics. It’s a very interesting spot. They are talented at working with small tools, complex lens offerings, color, patients of all kinds, a dozen insurance companies with hundreds of plans, technical specifications, and more.
Our new dispenser/stylist will assist patients in frame selection, carry out doctors’ directions for lens selections, guide and inform patients in choosing lens enhancements, price and order patients’ optical goods in co-ordination with any insurance requirements or allowable discounts, use lensmeter and other tools to verify all returning orders, take measurements necessary for ordering lenses, dispense glasses, train patients in use of their glasses, troubleshoot prescription adaptation, use small tools to re-adjust and repair glasses, manage frame inventory, train new contact lens wearers, share in the day-to-day management of optical aspects of the practice, cross-train in office and clinical aspects of the practice. This person will have mechanical ability, organizational talent, people skills, and fashion sense. We strive also to have as much cross-training as possible; so this person will have even more to learn after getting comfortable with the dispensing posit ion.
